How it All Started
Amplify Benefit Concerts was founded by Jake and Amanda Tesch after their niece, Sarah, was hit by a drunk driver, nearly losing her life. Wanting to help, they turned to the gift they knew best—music. What began as a single benefit concert revealed the power of live music to unite a community, inspire generosity and remind those facing life's hardest moments that they are not alone.
Today, Amplify Benefit Concerts brings communities together to support individuals and families facing tragedy, illness and unexpected hardship because we believe music has the power to bring hope, lighten burdens and change lives.
